N. Sivan, founder of Sivan and Sons Photography, believed that art and photography were inseparable from life. A respected Cinematographer and Art Director, he was awarded the Kerala State Film Award for Best Art Direction in 1982 for the acclaimed film Kodiyettam, directed by Adoor Gopalakrishnan. Today, the studio is led by his son, Vinod Sivan, and grandson, Vishnu V. Nair — continuing a legacy rooted in artistic excellence. Under his father’s mentorship, Vinod developed a deep understanding of visual storytelling, blending classic techniques with modern digital tools to create striking wedding photography, candid portraits, and cinematic wedding films.
Established in 1982, Sivan and Sons Photography has become a trusted name in professional photography, known for its timeless style, emotional depth, and technical precision. From vibrant ceremonies to quiet moments, the studio focuses on capturing memories that feel real, personal, and lasting.
